Why we do - what we do

Haven’t we all gone on Youtube to find and watch some of the finest shortfilms that our own immensely inspiring and seemingly quiet filmmakers are making and then after half an hour we end up on some random Youtube video titled “Best Indian Short Film Award Winning… will make you cry”, we watch it and move on to something else. It’s frustrating because the great films are scattered all over without any genuine way to get to them. We intend to fix that with a little help from you and with a little effort from our side. Our goal is to watch everything, review the best ones and feature them here for you to watch.

We feature some of the best shortfilms coming out of India on our website and we don’t make money doing that. We do it, with the very same passion that these films were made with. Please look at these great pieces of works and keep coming back to find more new stuff. If you’ve recently seen something which absolutely blew your mind, please tell us about it. And if you are a filmmaker and you believe you have something which the world should see, don’t worry about what your “distant aunt” thinks of it, send us the link and we have moderators whose tastes vary from Madhumati to Dev-D, from Persona to Dark Knight, from Contempt to Mulholland Drive, from Mean Streets to Hateful Eight. So let us all see and admire your work. Thanks for visiting. Please help us develop this community for the sake of our current filmmakers and inspire new ones.

We support a small community of independent short filmmakers and we intend to see this community out-grow us. Please support us by following us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and spread the word OR submit your film or the film you saw and think it should be here.

If you see a film here you like, please follow them on their respective social media pages and look out for their work wherever and whenever they upload it. This community we’re developing is for their sake, that if we can support them in someway, we must.

If feature film is a novel, a short-film would be a poem. So, like a poem, a good short-film inspires you immensely in the little time that the film has to tell its story. We keep looking and searching throughout Internet for such films and present them to you in a distraction free environment. The sole idea of this blog is to Inspire, so please help us inspire.
